Transistor Crystal Oscillator Circuit

The beginning of looking into using crystals for frequency accurate sinusoidal operation. This circuit behaves much more like a digital clock waveform generator. But during several seconds of warmup, pure sinusoidal oscillations would build up, until the circuit gain would cause limiting. Tantalyzing! If only the gain could be somehow controlled! Then sine output could be obtained. But still a useful circuit, as-is.
